Monica grew up with natural medicine and as a result developed a passion for helping people heal naturally. Growing up with a grandfather and a mother who were very knowledgeable herbalists was the catalyst to her career in natural healing.
Monica is Nationally Board Certified and licensed to practice Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the state of Arizona. She’s been in private practice over 15 years and became certified in Functional Medicine in 2017. Monica loves to treat a wide variety of issues including pain of all kind, anxiety, digestive disorders, allergies and many other ailments, but she has become quite well known for her work in treating infertility and working with all stages of pregnancy.
Because of Monica’s belief that health is not merely the absence of a physical disease, her approach to health and wellness encompasses all aspects of a person’s being, including the mental and emotional aspects as well as the physical manifestation.
Monica’s treatment goal is to help facilitate balance and harmony within all of these compartments and find the root cause of all ailments. She utilizes a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicinals and dietary therapy to help in this process.

Allison is also certified in Active Isolated Stretching, ACE Massage Cupping and Myoskeletal Alignment Technique .
“I believe my talent is my ability to “listen” to your tissue and address restrictions in a way that works with your nervous system, rather than one that bulldozes over your pain threshold. More importantly, I don’t ignore what my hands are telling me–if I’m on a knot, I’ll stay with it until I affect it.”
A long-time weekend warrior, Allison has trained at various times in martial arts, figure skating, ballet, and recreational running.
